S.O.S. CONSECRATED WOMEN REGNUM CHRISTI

This is a cry from the heart. Do not make any major decision if you are leaving or have recently left the Regnum Christi Movement. I beg you not to turn me off , no matter what you may have heard about me. I am a Catholic and feel obliged to make this video. I have heard too many testimonies of women who have left and have rushed into marriage and had as many children as possible, or made other major life decisions without thinking things through. You need to decompress after leaving a High Demand Group. You are not ready to make any major commitment until you have slowed down and found out what your want to do with the rest of your life. Some former members go to the other extreme and experiment with drugs and sex, or joínd another high control group. Both extremes are not helpful in the long run. Stop and take stock of where you are. If you have made some rash choices, there is still time to find balance in your life. Sparked by the episode of the Storm at Sea, Mk 4, 35-41, where it appears that Jesus was oblivious to his disciples’ peril. Which brings us to moments in our lives when we feel abandoned by God. When bad things happen to good people. Besides the tragic loss of human life brought on by natural disasters, which several countries have experienced recently, the question becomes more urgent in the case of wars, cruelty and abuse. Where is God, Jesus? I focus this on the plight of those seminarians, friends of mine, who were sexually abused by their spiritual father, Fr. Marcial Maciel, founder of the Legion of Christ order and Regnum Christi Movement. Where was Jesus? He begins to answer on this podcast…

Arrancó esta consideración al contemplar el episodio de la Tempestad en Marcos 4,35-41. Jesús parece ignorar el peligro de sus discípulos. Y cuando surge el mal, el sufrimiento en nuestras vida, ?será que nosotros queremos reclamarle a Dios su descuido, su abandono. El problema se recrudece más cuando hay gente que mata, viola, abusa a otros seres humano. Más aún, en el caso del abuso sexual de los menores. Y yo me refiero aquí de manera particular al abuso sexual que padecierion los seminaristas del Padre Marcial Maciel, fundador de los Legionarios de Cristo. ?Por qué Jesús no los protegió? Jesús comienza a contestar…
